I made it home in time to watch the Colts game and no performance award for me this time! Sorry for your loss (of some cash), Marty.

I also made it home a few hours ago. What an awesome weekend. It was a pleasure meeting everyone. Hopefully I will see you guys all again this time next year.

Ps.. I was able to get most of the road paint off.

Wow, what a weekend! Thanks to Zzzzip's hospitality, Smitty's great organization and planning, and Steve leading us on some great rides. Home safe after a little 850 mile dash home. No performance awards but I did get a stern look from my good buddy Deputy Dan as I was hot footing it in the last few miles in to Abercrombie.

Sounds like an awesome time.

Typical Hooterville...but this time on steroids I guess.

I presume nobody tipped the portajohn over with somebody in it?

I may go next year, just to get some catfish at the Kettle.

A big THANKS to you Smitty, for putting this all together and for the outstanding BBQ Friday night.

I enjoyed meeting everyone and riding with you all. A special shout out to Keith, Griff and Uncle HUD for their patience with me when I got a little tired around mile 180 on Hwy 160 on the way into Doniphan and had to take a break.

And to the enthusiastic Uncle HUD, I REALLY appreciate you going the extra mile and leading this tired old cow back to the barn for lunch that day. Something about a military man who always lives by the "never leave a man behind" motto that meant the difference that day. You're a good man, despite what all these other guys say!

Hope to see you all again down the road some day.

Steve

I slipped up and forgot to pat Steve on the back. He was Fridays route planner, I was the lunch in Washington planner.

Thanks Steve!!

Smitty

Home safe. Weather was good until 40 miles outside of Atlanta.

Thanks to all -- including Smitty's non-FJR buddies -- for making this happen. Apparently, my bike can go a lot faster if there are hoons around to set a "good" example.

Special thanks to Steve, who demonstrated that even though the signs say "One Lane Bridge; Yield to Oncoming Traffic" ..... if you're going Mach 3, you can just ignore that ****. (You meet the nicest people on a Honda!)

Fixed that for ya! Ha!

No pat on the back necessary. It was my pleasure to to show our out of state friends why we call this the "Show Me State"

Went to Atlanta with Uncle Hud today to avoid the crap in South Carolina. Will attempt to ford

the streams tomorrow at home. Nice to meet some new folks and even the head hoon Liquid Silver, according to Petey.

And of course a big shout out to Smitty for organizing this get together and to Steve for leading us on Sat.

Looking forward to Hooterville 11.

And thanks to Smitty for doing emergency repair on my bike

On a Honda? Shoot I though Steve was Beemerfied through and through!!

He is a great rider...and good at diagnosing whether your bike is totaled or not.

It goes all the way to 11??!!

BIG BIG THANKS to Smitty for hosting this shindig! I had a blast hanging with you fellas!

Marty must feel right at home in Hooterville hills. It was a blast playing chase with him, Petey and Smitty.

Great routes, great fellowship... awesome time!

Sorry about your performance award, OFace... I could have tried sweet-talking him for you... I must be pretty good at it. ;)

Thanks for letting me tag along!

Fkn Illinois State Troopers, lucky I didn't get shot.

Me: "21 days, 15 states, 7000 miles and my home state trooper is going to give me a ticket 200 miles from home?"

Him: "Yes."

Thank you for your contribution to the Illinois budget shortfall ... You have reduced the defect by 0.000000000000000000000000000001 percent ...

Your generous payment will cover 1/4 the cost to repair of one of the potholes that you hit on Interstate 55 ..... Have a nice day ... ;-)

Can someone PM me the turn by turn directions for the route that most of us took on Saturday

I want to have them a future project......

Please only PM them.

Thank you

Thanks Smitty for all your effort and hospitality. I will plan to attend this again next year!

Some of the few pictures that I snapped. I was too busy having a great time. Less time for pictures and more riding.

ONLY off road of the trip for everyone. Success already achieved.

This guy rides as fast as he pees. Couldn't catch him here either

Quick stop and a Dog and Suds, but ice cream was not high on the priority list at the time. Hard to believe.

This tire belonged to a certain someone on a FZ-1 who passed me like I was riding a turtle. Mind you I was going around a corner at 60. Like a walk in the park for him. Someone coined him as Head Hoon......I think it fits him well.

Some of the thing that were said in this van will never be allowed to be repeated outside the van. I could spend a few months in jail just for hearing them.!!!

BOB is popular.

Oface toasting the Weekend!!

When I pulled into the parking lot of the Super 8, I was just a few tenths short of 400 miles. A quick spin down the frontage road cured that.

Not everyone will get Full Credit for the mileage, Rounding up works too.

What a great event!!

Great pics, Josh! Thanks!

Those pics in the van are priceless. The 'Free Candy' signs on the side of the van would have been a nice touch, Smitty!

Oh, the pics were good...except for the creepy guy staring back at me in the last pic.

I'm guessing there was a lot of tomfoolery going on in that van.

Smitty's driveway Friday night.

Feasting on brats and burgers.

Smitty's ridiculously clean, immaculately maintained Tenere and 690 Enduro

Oface trying to get friendly with an unwilling recipient. I take that back, I am seeing a little smirk and a thumbs up. Smitty, Petey, and Smitty's nephew appeared unimpressed with the PDA going on in front of the Bixby store.

Smitty is proud of his gloves, Griff looks unimpressed.

My weapon for the Hooterville 400

Steve and I taking a little break from the 400.

The Hooterville 400 group I rode with. Steve "STL FJR" leading the way, Carl "Griff", Uncle Hud, and I am on the right.
