I slipped up and forgot to pat Steve on the back. He was Fridays route planner, I was the lunch in Washington planner.A big THANKS to you Smitty, for putting this all together and for the outstanding BBQ Friday night.
I enjoyed meeting everyone and riding with you all. A special shout out to Keith, Griff and Uncle HUD for their patience with me when I got a little tired around mile 180 on Hwy 160 on the way into Doniphan and had to take a break.
And to the enthusiastic Uncle HUD, I REALLY appreciate you going the extra mile and leading this tired old cow back to the barn for lunch that day. Something about a military man who always lives by the "never leave a man behind" motto that meant the difference that day. You're a good man, despite what all these other guys say!
Hope to see you all again down the road some day.

And thanks to Smitty for doing emergency repair on my bikeWent to Atlanta with Uncle Hud today to avoid the crap in South Carolina. Will attempt to fordthe streams tomorrow at home. Nice to meet some new folks and even the head hoon Liquid Silver, according to Petey.
And of course a big shout out to Smitty for organizing this get together and to Steve for leading us on Sat.
Looking forward to Hooterville 11.
On a Honda? Shoot I though Steve was Beemerfied through and through!!Home safe. Weather was good until 40 miles outside of Atlanta.
Thanks to all -- including Smitty's non-FJR buddies -- for making this happen. Apparently, my bike can go a lot faster if there are hoons around to set a "good" example.
Special thanks to Steve, who demonstrated that even though the signs say "One Lane Bridge; Yield to Oncoming Traffic" ..... if you're going Mach 3, you can just ignore that ****. (You meet the nicest people on a Honda!)

Me: "21 days, 15 states, 7000 miles and my home state trooper is going to give me a ticket 200 miles from home?"
Him: "Yes."
Oh, the pics were good...except for the creepy guy staring back at me in the last pic.Great pics, Josh! Thanks!
Those pics in the van are priceless. The 'Free Candy' signs on the side of the van would have been a nice touch, Smitty!
