Well, my Pack actually gave a decent accounting of themselves and weren't shredded as some predicted.
Yeah...but Pittsburgh sure was...

Oh well...maybe next year

Denver will have to play a lot better if they want to beat the Patriots. The Steelers were without all their top offensive weapons. The Patriots will have all of theirs.

I know where New England fan Bob stands, lol...you're hoping they play the same. Speaking as a diehard Broncos fan, the receiving core had better pay attention to the catching class they're sure to get this week. :D

I agree, but was it me or did Manning's passes just look off? It looked like they were all coming out of his hand differently. That may have been part of the problem with the receivers. I liked Peyton's comments on the field after the game. Class act.

Yea, agreed, there were a few passes that did look "off", but there was also a lot that bounced off chest pads or hands that would've been good gainers or perhaps TDs.

The Broncos have had a pretty oddball season and it'll be a miracle if they make it to the Super Bowl...but one can hope.

Get dirt bikes you dorks. Even when it's cold, a few minutes on the seat and you're warm. Then you can spend your weekends riding instead of watching a bunch of overpaid premadonnas dance around in tight pants.

Titans are #1 (Draft pick)

The Chiefs started their season 1-5 and now have won 11 in a row.
I'm predicting they end their season on a 1 game losing streak next weekend. You can usually count on Alex Smith clutching up when it matters most - and conversely that a**hole Brady keeps finding a way to win.
Unfortunately this one turned out as I predicted.....

Somehow the Patriots often find ways to win, even with their continual carousel of players. Somehow the Broncos often find ways to almost lose (or to lose) games that they should have been better in. I expect it will be an ugly loss by the Broncos to the Patriots next weekend (much like Denver's loss to the Seahawks in the recent superbowl).

It will be interesting to see how the Panthers handle the Cardinals next weekend. But I think it will be close, advantage to Panthers.

I expect that an intense Patriots team (with Brady's intensity and precision) will unravel Cam Newton's showboating attitude in the superbowl.

I didn't even expect the Steelers to be in the game with an injured quarterback, best receiver out, and both top running backs out. We almost pulled it off. Oh well. Let's Go Pens!

Not looking good for the Pens this year. Middle of the pack and losing again tonight to the Blues 2-4 late in the third.

Somehow I think the Pens will make the playoffs this year. Too much talent there. They're due to start putting several wins together.

Two Interesting facts about this year's playoffs:

In the Wildcard round, all 4 of the hard charging wildcard teams beat their "division winning" opponents.

In the Divisional round, all 4 of the top seeded teams won.

What does this say about "parity" and the current playoff seeding methods?

While it was nice to see the Chefs win a playoff game, the Texans never should have even been in the playoffs. The same might have been said of that "team from Washington DC." (what better location is there to be politically incorrect?)

Ya, but Johnny Manziel may be going to the Dallas Cowboys as Tony Romo’s apprentice. After all -->

The embattled Cleveland Browns quarterback was seen Saturday evening at Kings Liquor in Fort Worth, according to Theresa Swinney, assistant manager at the store at 2810 W. Berry St., not far from TCU.
Swinney said she and her colleagues quickly recognized Manziel. He bought a $120 bottle of Don Julio Tequila, part of a total purchase of “under $200.” She said he paid with a credit card with his name on it.

“He was in a really good mood,” said Swinney, who said she waited on the former Heisman Trophy winner from Texas A&M.

Reports of his stop at the liquor store were also posted on Facebook, drawing such comments as “at least he’s consistent at something.”
Johnny sounds like he is a quick learner that is determined to get his stuff together and become a team leader.
In January 2015, following his rookie season with the Browns, Manziel entered an alcohol and drug treatment center. In a public statement released in April, Manziel apologized to the Browns and their fans, saying that what he had “learned in the last couple of months has been tremendous.”
I wonder how much the Browns are going to have to pay the Cowboys to take Manziel....... ;)
