Having just had a good experience tearing down and completley rebuilding my 200 yz426, I have a false sense of confidence to tear into my sick 6-cylinder Kz1300..

which is only HALF of this KZ.. 12 Clylinder KZ

okay, you got me curious...where did you find that? I wouldn't want to be the guy doing the carb. rebuilds & syncs!

It looks like he turned the rear cylinder around and has a single carb with (very)custom manifold.......

I knew a guy several years ago that had a drag bike. It was a Kaw with 2 - 901cc 4-cyl. engines, bored out to something larger. It was wicked.

Clicky

If I owned that, I'd have to listen to it with an open header, just once. What a song that thing must sing!
So true. A stock Kz1300 running through open pipes is an incredible sound. I have heard nothing else like it. Kind of like a Ducati with the small v8 chevy sound coupled with the fast rev's of a Maseratti.

Very very nice to listen to. Suprisingly, it sounds nothing like a CBX Honda.

I need to get that bike back on the road again...

No idea, apparently he has built a few V'8 from KZ1000 engines as well.

Did you notice in the article that he uses hand tools for most of his work!

Now that's insane. long live cnc

Chris
