Yesterday popped through the 26k mile mark. One year and 12.0562 months. (the engineers will tell you how many days that is)
I know others have ridden farther/faster but.. given that Southern Oregon is the farthest this bike has been, and I live in the central Kali coast meaning it ain't all that far.. that seems like a pretty fair amount of miles.

I may not be IBA material, but the old girl does get ridden daily and I have to say, even though I've had more problems than most, that this platform rocks.. and the other bikes tend to be dust collectors...

I wonder if by 24 months I'll have passed through 60k? I bet I do.. Summer is coming and I have time off.. :yahoo:

Congrats on the mileage. I met you a little over a week ago at the Yamaha store in Paso. I was waiting with a friend who had laid down his cruiser. He's and the bike are back in Oregon and he is on the mend, just a bruised leg, elbow and ego.

It was nice meeting you and talking to you about the FJR.

Mike

I can say with all honesty that a big problem has occured while owning this bike. And that is all I want to do is ride it. This is one bike I do not want to put away and I don't even feel guilty about it. But I do write home now and then though just to keep in touch with the wife.....PM. <>< :yahoo:

Did you make that up, or are you keeping track? Oh, and when did you get my application?
Heh heh.. Skooter's been keeping track of your infractions!

It was nice to meet you to Mike, good to hear your bud made it back. He was gimping around pretty good in the lot that day. I'm still working the insanity hours but soon it will end.

I think I'm going green with envy! However, the FJR is, IMhO, one of the best road burners availible and of the 78 bikes I've owned...THE best! Now if my health would only allow me to ride her, sigh..........

My '06 was, by a couple of days, the very first '06 delivered in the USofA and has less than 3K miles right now due to on-going health issues. A pinched nerve really tends to futz up ones riding ability and a botched operation makes it worse. However, every time I can ride my FJR I still enjoy/appreciate her even more; truly a magnificent road machine! DFO :D

Oh, OhbeWanASobee.. Not ONE of those days has been over 100 miles in 24 hours! I DARE you to prove me wrong! UhOh.. OK, OK, I will pay my violation(s) by remitting a party at the HondaRosa.. ..
