2nd gear problems

Has anyone else had any problems with 2nd gear ---bent forks or worn dogs? and getting their Y.E.S. to cover the repair?

Six months and counting, my fjr is still not fixed. Matison Motor sports(Raleigh, N.C.) says they are still waiting on parts. I am at the end of my chain with Yamaha and Matison. Any thoughts on what I should do or contact? :angry2:

Phil,

Been in your shoes. Contact your REGIONAL Yamaha Service Manager (Runs & Manages All Yamaha Service work at Dealers) and ask them to help you on what the problem is. When parts are ordered, there is a good possibilty they are not sitting on the local shelves and have to be ordered via Japan.... then it takes time to get through Customs.
