With the angle of that wood I would not expect to see the rear passenger door intact nor the glass intact. Strangely the shadow/reflection across the rear passenger door matches the line of the plywood. What is the front string tied to under the hood? My vote, photochop in the last pic.

The chinese food cookie successfully brought a chuckle out of me.

I actually saw a couple guys load sheet rock on top of their car outside the Home Depot to the point where the roof collapsed. I didn't stick around for the swearing and finger pointing part.

The lumber-carrying Jetta is well known in the VW community to be real. It's also a testament to the structural integrity that VW's have.
