Well, I finally got to pick her up today, after being sick the last 4 days. I drove her for only 65 miles, but considering how long it's been, I feel I'm doing good with that. It took me a good 15 miles to get comfortable to the foot shifter for christ sakes! I had the most difficult time upshifting, and couldn't figure why! Finally I got a "feel" for it, and in like Flint!
Very smooth, that is my 1st impression. I understand what people mean when they describe the power delivery as linear. Makes me think of those Star Wars machines they fly through the woods on. It will take me a little time to get used it, especially low speed handling, but I feel it the more I ride...the more I smile!
Anyway, I wanted to post up here and let everyone here know I got it, because of the help and information I received from this forum. Thank you to all who directly or indirectly helped me make this a reality!
This photo is all I have at the moment, but be assured...more will be coming.
