Howie, it was nice to meet you. Now, sell that car that's been sitting idle and buy the damn thing!

The wedgie wasn't too bad, nothing that a little paint remover can't take care of.

Glad ya'll liked the photos, thanks.

Oh, wanted to add something to my little list...

The fly-by-wire throttle is light as a feather and smooth as silk. It's SO good, I'm considering doing the throttle spring unwind on my inoffensive '04 just to come close to how easy is the '13 throttle action.

edit: Had to add ANOTHER item on the list....

SOMEONE please shoot the idjit who put the hazard switch where the starter button used to be!!! Me No Likey!

Well *******, he doesn't like you either!
Not sure if you're just taking an opportunity to stick a knife in me, or if you REALLY like that Yamaha put the hazard switch where 10,000,000 other motorcycles have their starter switches. :p

Knife in RH.... violate long-established convention.... knife in RH..... violate long-established convention....

Looks like a simple choice to me! :p

+1, Gunny; this is why our Walt is the Einstein of our Fine FJR Forum, should I use a K-Bar or a Leatherman?!?!?!?

That is just superb ! One part of me say Congrats ! the other hopes the kickstand continued to sink and you just didnt want to post those pics...or that you have to go to Daytona to find a banked road or....but seriously , thanks for sharing !

Well, "310" has over 5,000 miles now. I've been riding it every weekend, and 2 or 3 days a week to work. Recently, I took a trip to Tallahassee, Macon, Athens, Dahlonega, Tellico Plains, and Robbinsville. A little over 1,500 miles round trip, and she was flawless. SR 60 in N. Georgia from Dahlonega, heading north, is not to be missed...twisty heaven! Cherohala Skyway was great also, especially since I went before all the crowds started, and had it all to myself 90% of the ride each way. Of course I took some photos, but not as many as I would have wished, as I found it difficult to get off the bike. A GoPro or Contour is in my future for sure.

Here are a couple photos of the bike.

Good pics. Been at that slight pull out on the Cherohala more than once. Keep having fun!

I wonder if it would be possible to find #420?

LKLD - Wow! - Giving GeorgiaRoller a run for his money - very nice! You guys ever hook up, him being a Georgia boy in your back yard, there just might be an artistic explosion.

Somebody in a forum post said it - "The 2013 looks like its on steroids compared to previous years models". I agree.

Thanks David, GR has some mighty fine photos on here, not sure I could add anything worthwhile. You never know with southern boys though.
