Yes I could and probably will when I retire in 6 yrs. Wife is from there and her family is still there. Actually going up for another forum's convention for 4-5 days and then heading east to Greenboro for the rest of the week. I really need a Vacation!

I like Slap's solution. I sold my Boone, NC house, jumped right across the state line and bought property in Mountain City, TN and will soon start a new house there for retirement. Going to get the hell out of FL. Having Shady Valley and the " Snake " right out my back door is going to be heaven.
