A Burlington woman and a man were charged Tuesday in Racine County Circuit Court in connection with an attempted murder-for-hire plot on the woman's husband.
According to the criminal complaint, Diane M. Zimmerman, 41, offered longtime friend Michael P. Isferding, 41, a new Harley-Davidson© motorcycle and $50,000 to kill her husband. Todd Zimmerman, her husband, was stabbed and slashed many times but lived and called police from his cell phone.
