Givi makes two types of 47L top cases: Monokey and Monolock
Depending on which one you bought, you will need a Givi base to sandwich between the rack and the top case.

I have the monokey and I do have a givi base that came with a givi bracket. I must have the wrong base since it does not fit on the Yamaha bracket. thanks for the reply

would anybody have the part number for the Givi bracket that would go with the Yamaha rear carrier 1MC248D000 for a monokey top case ? thanks

IDK if this will help you out but if you're talking about the thing that the rack bolts on to it's the Givi SR357.
