Well, the 600 mile service is finished and all is well. With 785 miles on the new 08AE I have to say I am pleased as punch. For an old HD rider, YEP age 64, I am having a blast. Not sure how it is going over with all my friends, me on a Harley Yamaha but my son and I will take the Feeger's to Sturgis on August 11th with my son-in-law on his BadBoy. Anybody else going? The forum has been great especially getting the advice on service, windshields, luggage, seats, sliders, and many other farkels. So, thanks to all that have sent topics before. The farkel list is growing by the day which is good. I am definately looking forward to the same old roads but on a different bike so that should be fun. If anyone else is going give a shout. I would like to meet some other FJR owners.
