I thought some of you FJR owners would love this little yamaha I built over the last two years . Yes I have toured on her many miles . Just recently sold the R6 to a friend . I had a full yoush system/PCV / gillestooling vario bar clipons / saddleman tech seat / 520 chain kit with dual gearing for hwy 18/48 or roadrace 15/48 / zero gravity windscreen / emmisions removal / BMC filter and a list of other smaller stuff . I built these bag mounts at a friends fab shop . all work of the pegs and were stable upt to 145 mph (GPS )

Clever idea! I love people who think outside the box and create something new....they just seem awfully wide to me. Obviously they worked well.

Thank you . The width was so I could still have my son's or girlfriend ride with me . If I was going to be solo all the time I would of pulled them in 2" and left 3/4 " on exhaust side .

It got alot of looks espicaly when I turned up the heat in the Ozarks or smokey mountians .

Here was my other cross country rig I built 1999 ZX11 D lightened up to 505 wet , coated in full bedliner

with motor work by me . Hwy geard with ZRX1200 lighter wheels 18/42 pumped out 62 mpg @ almost 80 mph , and would still go 186 mph on the GPS with 17/42 .

Well, sure, with a 90 lb jockey! How does he handle the stops though?

Aha!!!

Since I always ride solo I forget that others design add-ons with a passenger in mind.
