Miles don't matter to me on a BB. Rebuilt title, not thrilled but whatever. The guy that had it bought it put about 30,000 miles on it with no problems. He is a mechanic, and took care of the bike.

Lots of farkles, and that sweet no longer in production 2bro's exhaust and header. Don't forget the chrome rims. Bling bling, should match my sweet silver chain!

Pick her tomorrow morning, FZ1 departs the garage tomorrow evening. Hate to see the FZ1 go, but a greater power has persuaded me to do so! (or at least that's what I keep telling myself) ;)

Yeah, post us a picture. We ain't registering just to peek at your new toy.

Oh, yeah, nearly forgot;

*******!

Added the pic, didn't realize you had to register to see them on the CBR forum.

$3700!!!!!!!!! :yahoo:

The dealer wouldn't take it for trade because of the rebuilt title. Hell if I care!

Congrats on the 'bird. I'm still keeping my eyes peeled for a one locally to stick in the garage. 'Course if I did I'd have a lot more room around the house too since my wife would surely up and leave me.

What do they call that? Something about killing two birds...?

Anywho... As to the reconstructed title: It only matters if you ever want to sell it, and also for insurance purposes. If you have comprehensive and collision insurance on it, the insurance co. probably wouldn't give you anything for it in a claim. But for cheaper bikes like these I don't see the point for carrying collision anyway.

Check out this deal on a Salvage titled bike: linky

Yeah for real. At $3700 dollars, I'd probably pay for the bike in 2-3 years with the money from comp and collision.

Blackbirds are gay. Jes' sayin'.
And they make your hair fall out.
I also heard that you end up buying a squiddy bike after owning a BB for a while! ;)

Prolly a Busa next. I never seen pipes like that - way cool.

If I can get my receivables down where they belong I may pick one up too. There are some deals to be had with Blackbirds. The acceleration of a rocket for the price of a scooter.

Way to go Keith. Be Safe!!!
