Not gonna make WFO this year, but...

I rode down the north coast this morning, and thought I'd make two suggestions.

#1

If you're blasting down 101, through the early morning fog,

DON'T hit one of these *******s.

#2

If you stop at Kristina's (in Eureka) for breakfast...

DO NOT order the ham steak, ...unless johnny80s is with you.

Y'all have fun.

I was just thinking...if you REALLY wanted to be helpful, you would have "eliminated" one of them.

Thanks, Michael!

WOW!!!!
Wapiti up the wazoo!! I wouldn't mind hitting that #2 Bull.....with 180 grains from my 7mm STW!
I was just thinking the same thing, except at that range my old 30-30 should do the trick.

So no WFO for you either, OM? If I get my shock back in time, I'm considering a day-trip...

GPSuspension "did" mine last Monday. Ride in.

Should we crash it, Patrick? 36 both ways?
Are you loving the new suspenders?

Stars gotta align at least 3 ways (shock, work, wife), but sounds like a fine idea, sir, a fine idea.

OMG OM! Those are some gigantic forest rats... or I should say their cousins. WOW! :dribble:

That food was a meal for a family of four. :dribble:

Looked like a great ride in the fog. ;)

What's this, OM flaking again............R
Actually, Master ******, it was your brother Shiny who flaked. He'd asked me to call as I came through his area (Roseburg, OR), but all I got was his voicemail - on both his cell and home numbers. In his defense, he called me a bit later, but I'd already turned off my phone and was long gone.

Where on 101 did you encounter these fine-looking critters?
Curious,

W2
W2, it was right around Orick and Trinidad.

...I was coming south on 101 at just after 0700. Almost surreal, Enya Watermark in my ear, smooth asphalt, deep forest, NO other traffic, high-speed sweepers, temps in the 50's, and that beautiful fog and mist. As I sat there taking pictures, the biggest elk turned toward me and started speaking. He told me he was getting old and weary, and .... you'll have to check out my ride report. :D

Much better hit with a camera, than a bike. Nice pix.

So, if you're not going to WFO will you be joining us in San Diego? J80's posted a photo of the entertainment (although many have begged him to delete it).

Rumor has it a couple of riders from South of NorCal, but North of SoCal may crash the party. Ping me to coordinate if you and OM decide to blast up there.
