TriggerT
Mr. Impatient
I was watching an interview with Clint Smith the other day, and he said something that I think really applies to motorcycle riders as well as guns. Clint is one of the leading firearms instructors in the US, with his Thunder Ranch, for those of you who have never heard the name.
Anyway, during the interview they asked him why he carried a full size 1911 .45ACP pistol, and how it just can't be comfortable. Clint's reply was that he didn't want the gun to be "comfortable," but "comforting." I think the same thing applies for motorcycle gear. A lot of the things we wear are not really comfortable, but when you start to think about dressing for the crash, instead of the ride, they are comforting.
