A 5 watt license plate light bulb has been added -- another consumer of precious watts. Maybe this is a fair trade for replacing the four 1.1 watt meter lights with lower power LEDs.

Well, I got halfway through a post diggin on you again - I was like WTF? The 03-05 models had license plate lights too.
Then I remembered that the light that lit up the plate on the previous years was directed out the bottom of the taillights.
So yep, yammie taking away more of our precious watts. *******s! What the hell are they thinking? And why in the hell did they move the location of the plate? I think they should give me a job as an engineer so I can set them straight!
