A Late Spring Weekend

Remember when the snow was so deep you couldn't wait to ride?

(You folks in the south and west can skip this part)

Even the deer were tired of this white shiet.

Well...lets fast forward a few months and go on a ride thru West Virginia when its warmer. :clapping:

First...I have to figure out a way to mount the GPS without spending any money.

Well, a piece of scrap aluminum, a jig saw and some tie wraps..

Thats appalachian engineering at its finest... :lol:

Heres the players...

Myself..on the world famous FJR 1300.

(I am not pictured in any photos due to the others request)

Our friends, Jack and Cindy on the Honda ST 1300.

Good friend Joe on the Ultra luxurious Goldwing.

My son will be escorting us with the new (to us) R6.

Sometimes I wonder if this guy should have been the one we left out of the photos.

He looks like he should be hiding under a bridge somewhere collecting tolls.

Anyhoe...this road here..highway 311..between WV and Va. is one of our favorites.

There are very few homes, very few riders (on the WV side) and the twisties are perfect.

We hit this area during the week for some fast, fun riding.

This pic here is Germany Valley...up near Seneca Rocks in WV.

This is Seneca Rocks. Nice area but a lot of rider traffic. Get out and about more

to find the nicer roads. It is pretty here though.

I love this pic. Beautiful area. My son missed it by riding a wheelie on the R6 down thru here..

I gave him some shit about it..so you can bet he won't be doing that again... :lol:

Oh well..at 19 I was much worse than him. Anybody ever heard of NJP ? I know what it is very well..

Time for lunch. Pretty good food. Nothing to make a special trip for though.

Back on the road but had to slow down and let the ST catch up...

These things make a Harley seem fast.
