A little frustration with some info on the dashboard outlet

The Gen II Brie spreader blew the POS 3 amp fuse in the glove box also! It is 3 amp by the way, and yes the slime pump does fry that sucker in a fraction of a second.

My Solution was adding a Powerlet socket on the right side panel (painted panel) cuz the dash panel over the battery has no room on a Gen II for the socket to fit .

As for the electrical aspect of this install? If you can tell the difference (black - /red +) your qualified.

The cutting a hole in a painted panel part was the only thing that slowed me down. But it's done, and looks good.

Buy or borrow a stepped (cone shape) drill bit, and cut a hole to 11/16. A drizzle of silicone around the hole. Fasten the socket in place. Connect the leads to the battery. Insert provided fuse. Close her up... Your done.
