Enjoy.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww.......................kiss revisited. I'd need tassles on mine, though.

This is serious business for some of us.

I wore those boots for the first 10K miles or so, until I got more used to the FJR. They allowed me to touch the balls of my feet to the ground. Now, I ride with regular boots and tippy toes down, after getting the bike lowered by an inch.

Can I have the name of your Shoe Store/Man? I need a pair of those. I really don't want to lower mine an inch.

Custom seat, Did you get one and if so did it help?

I've tipped over so often I quit counting after 7! :dribble: I also suffer from permanent mild vertigo and loss of balance due to an accident a few years ago. :dribble:  Not an issue except when fine balance is needed (slow parking lot maneuvers. :( A pity, I used to have excellent balance gained from years of Judo instruction as a young guy. Anyway a seat mod/lowering/mod/etc is high on my "To DO" list. I've even fantasized a custom "adjustable rear shock". One that can be adjusted "on the fly" If the Mexicans can do it to cars, why not motorcycles? :yahoo:

Just a thought.

Special prayer for short people....My the lord always provide solid footing!

ya know....the old 1983 to 1996 Ventures used to use an air adjustable shock in the rear. I wonder if it would fit???? It was more for pre-load than height adjustment but it did raise and lower it a few inches. Not as much as that air ride suspension they have for the customer choppers though.

One more thing to canabalize off my old 84....was thinking about seeing if I could make a mount for the trunk that would fit my FJR too. <_<

Man, that's got to feel like you have a pair of cinder blocks hanging from the bottom of your foot!
Would you believe that those boots are no problem to wear (except that they weren't all that comfortable BEFORE the mod)? Us girls are used to wearing strange footwear in the name of fashion.

Any decent shoe repair place could help out the shorter rider. Our local guy told me at first that he couldn't do it, but I knew from a friend's boots that it could be done. He charged me about $120 but it was worth it.
