Cool. I know it is too late since you apparently bought bits that were specifically for an impact driver. Normal way to do it is to get a set of sockets and then just use a socket adapter on the impact driver. Then you have a set of tools you can also use on your socket wrench. This kind of stuff is common and available at Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, etc.
