Oh yeah, you had a question. Sort of got off on a tangent (Oooo there's a $3.50 word). Yeah that was a wild ride!

Best bet is to try craigslist, cycletraderonline, ebay (evilbay), and a longer shot, watch the for sale board here.

Not sure how many FJR's are around in your 500 mile radius. You're probably looking at about $7K-$8K for those years and if you want farkles maybe more. You may also want to look at smaller commuter bikes (maybe 500cc-750cc) if your commute is not too far and your not going to do distance riding. You'll get better mileage, cheaper, and you won't care that it sits all winter. :(

Although you could get a FJR, get assimilated and go nuts and do the Iron Butt rally!

Good luck in your quest.

Man I didn't think I was starting anything by what I posted. That is one hell of a **** Storm. And how I really got involved is beyond me? Guys I am looking for a bike to ride too and from work. Is that so bad? :cold:
No. Not at all.

Cripes peeps. I gotta say this thread has really pissed me off. :angry2: I haven't closed a thread in a long time, but you all pushed my button. Poor new guy asks a legitimate question, and you ALL turn his thread into a **** storm.

Shame on the lot of you. Take your ******** to another thread or pick on somebody like me. I'd be happy to go a few e-rounds with you. I mean WTF?!?! It's not wintertime. Go freaking ride.

Noggin1970 - Go ahead and start a new thread. It will stay on topic. I guarantee it. ;)
