Hit a brick wall when it came to the peened over security bolts that hold the ignition barrel.Can't get any tool on them and working outside, I wad losing light so I'm done for tonight.Can anyone help me on methods on getting these out?

Flywheel,

The bolts that hold the ignition switch get the heads snapped off, leaving a no-head screw.  You can drill a small hole in the center of the bolt and use a small easy-out, or just drill the heads off entirely.  Once things are apart, use Vice-Grips to remove the remaining "studs."  You can get the right bolts from Yamaha (with the snap-off heads, for security) when you re-install the switch, or just use Allen or Torx-headed screws , your call.  I'd go with the Allen bolts if I needed to remove the OEM ignition bolts, , but I garage my bike mostly.

 
use cobalt drill bits if you have them.  Those bolts are really hard.  Go slow and take your time and it will be less frustrating to get them out.
