you think that if I change the front sensor witch rear sensor it could stop working correct????I haven't actually checked, but here's my guess: Yamaha uses unique electrical connectors where each component attaches to the wiring harness to assure proper connections. Aside from possible difference in cable lengths I bet this is the reason for different part numbers. While they may be the same component they may not be directly interchangeable.
HII agree with SLK50. The sensors probably have different length connectors. They should be identical in how they operate. i would try to switch sensors from front to rear as a test to see if the fault codes switch places (code for bad front now reads bad rear etc...). You may have troble with the lenght of the wires to reach where they plug into.
