ABS--Thank You!

Glad your are okay Spud, but now you have gotten me to worrying about a deer strike. I have had probably had10 close encounters of the deer types, but luckily no collisions.

On my latest trip to Colorado I encountered a buzzard flying out of a shadow in front of me. It missed my shield by inches and looked as big as a small airplane. This happened 20 miles from the start of my trip.

Glad you are Okay. Welcome to the deer slayer club. Glad you managed to stay upright with the deer on your windscreen.

The buck I hit, came over the windscreen also, knocked me clean off the bike.

The '14 I crashed last year was the first ABS bike I've owned. I took it to the football stadium parking lot and made a few test runs. I yanked and stomped those brakes as hard as I could. The abs worked - it worked so good I dam near went over the handlebars the first time.

I've had to panic stop a couple of times on the road, but I've only felt the "ABS pulse vibration" on my rear, not the front.
