rolling along about 70 in the dark ----------- oh crap! deer -- hard on brakes, tires cry but don't slid. PERFECT! i just love this bike

Here's my ABS story!
Doing 90mph on I-95 North bound, saw a rest area coming up and had to "P" real bad. Last minute turn into the off ramp at about 60mph and thought I was ok,
untilI saw that a hard 90 degree right turn was coming up RIGHT NOW!!! No way I was going to make it! cause of gravel, dirt and the extreme 90, and the "FEET"
that had for a stopping distance. Hit both brake HARD while I had a little conversation with JESUS!! I knew I was going for a swim in the water retention pond.
Instead of fearing for my life, the first thoughts going through my head was:
This might hurt a little. Oh crap, I'm going to have to drag this dead horse back up this hill. Ok, I always did love the color of the 09AE, Ill order one tomorrow,
God PLEASE! Don't let the 6 o'clock news crew show up and record this!!
To my surprise, The bike stopped me in plenty of time for me to gently make that right turn and parked at the rest stop like nothing had happened. Make no
mistake, I DID WET MY PANTS!!! But, it was kinda raining a little anyway, So I blended right in with all the people going to to their business!!
The ABS on this bike is AWSOME!!! :yahoo:

Dies anyone else here feel their ABS comes on too soon? I know I have more braking potential there, But the ABS kicks in too early for my taste.
