Sorry to hear about the hand and the bike but VERY pleased to hear it wasnt worse... I'm guilty of not wearing armored pants all the time as I commute to the office daily. I do wear armored jacket and gloves all the time though.

7 weeks of bike shopping!

Glad to hear your injuries are no worst than they are. Wishes sent for a speedy recovery. Now do us all a favor

and take half the funds you get from the insurance company and put out a contract on the mazda driver.

Kidding of course

Sorry to hear about your crash. Scary stuff. The fine for red light runners should be at least $1k. It must be one of the major causes of injury accidents. If there is an accident caused by a red light runner then the find should be triple. IMHO

When I was in Dubai the drivers are friggin nuts with some of the things they do. But the fine for running a red light is steep and they have cameras and you don't see ANYBODY running a red light. Pretty cool.

Agreed, if the consequences were high enough people would not run red lights.

May I suggest $5000 first offense, one year in jail second offense.

This crap would stop very fast.

Spent 5 months in Riyadh understand what you mean about "drivers are friggin nuts". I blame the Germans though, long story.
