On my last bike, I added a fuseblock that was relayed to ignition power to run my accessories and it worked pretty well. Based on what I learned from doing that, I am not sure I would do it again. Especially for my heated gear, because it adds additional points of failure. Nothing sucks worse than having your heated gear work intermittently because there are too many connections in your circuit. That being said, I don't run a lot of accessories.
If you plan to run a lot of stuff, adding a fuseblock is a decent way to go, because you can feed the entire block with one large (12 ga or better) wire, and have items independently fuse protected. It is a lot easier than getting 6 ring terminals connected to the battery. Just try to think it through, because you can spend a lot of time re-doing it if you don't like the layout.
Good luck.
