Take a photo of the winner of the 2011 Iron Butt Rally next to the stone monument plaque which lists all of the winners of the Iron Butt Rally.
Additional points awarded if Team Strange Total World Domination shirt is clearly visible.
I.D. Flag is required in photo.
It is located along Guru Road, about 1/4 mile north of its junction with NV-34, northwest of Gerlach, NV. Guru Road is unpaved.
WARNING: Do NOT take Jungo Road as the ‘shortcut’ from Winnemucca to Empire, no matter how your GPS routes you. It is sandy, deeply rutted, rocky dirt road not suitable for touring motorcycles or riders who are less than expert dirt riders. There is no cell service, no service of any kind in fact and at least two very accomplished LD riders have been airlifted out in the last few years with serious injuries. Don’t be stupid.
