I bought an '05 FJR this spring primarily for commuting. Here in MN morning temps are typically below 60 degrees even in mid summer and they are already below 50 and dropping. A recent morning it was 37 degrees.
I got the FJR partially because of the "complaints" about engine heat. On my morning rides that heat is most welcome.
However, it can be a drag to deal with the heat on a hot summer day. Has anyone ever come up with a solution that allows the engine heat emanations to be selectable/variable.
Overall I like the bike a lot. added helibar risers, a larger windsheild, and corbin seat. It's the bike I ride most often. wish it had more ponies and might do an exhaust and PC this winter.
thx in advance for any help or suggestions.
