My 2006 came with these links since the PO was female. I put the stockers back on and don't need them. They are steel 'turnbuckle' style including bolts. I didn't measure the drop but think it was a couple of inches.

I'm asking $60.00 including shipping in North America.

If anyone is interested PM me and I'll get pictures.

Are they adjustable to increase ride height also?

It's been my experience that these can go both ways, but raising the riding height is much more limited than lowering based on the amount of exposed "bolt" and bending stress.

Also, it's been my experience that you cannot use the same links on Gen1 that you do on Gen2. Don't know why, but I always sucked at geometry.

Does anyone know if you need to do anything to the front when using these. I am not quite flat footed. So have been considering these. Any info is greatly appreciated!

A set of these things came on my ride as well. They look like the Soupy's to me. If I ever get around to pulling them, I'll probably sell them too.

reaction57: You can lower the front by loosening the fork pinch bolts on the steering head and adjusting the forks "up".

Front and rear should be adjusted appropriately to maintain suspension alignment. As mentioned earlier, loosen the upper and lower front fork clamps and slide the forks 'up' an amount roughly equal to how much you lower the rear suspension with the links. Probably also want to do a suspension SAG adjustment, especially at the rear, since your lever arm geometry has been changed.

I'm trying to load pictures from Photobucket but get this message "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community."

I tried resizing smaller with same result.

Anyway about the links, I don't think these are Soupy's because the turnbuckle portion is round with a hex section at one end for a wrench, and lock nuts at each end. From Soupy's website the pics show the turnbuckles are hex the full length.

They might act as lifting links because they can be adjusted a couple of inches shorter than they are now. I was told the bike was lowered a couple of inches at this setting but I didn't measure it before putting the originals back on.
