Well we've been looking for a while and trying to decide if we were ready for another doggy. We've always like Chesapeake Bay Retreivers and had to put ours down a couple years ago. Well Mama was checking the rescue sites on the web and found one up in Watkins Glen where my son and future daughter in law were camping. The next morning she let Ryan know where this place was and he skipped seeing the Park and went straight to the rescue shelter. There he found 25 chessy's and a Lady named Sandy caring and training them. Her heart is trully devoted to this bread and also has 6 of her own. Well needless to say out of 25 dogs you would have to be blind not to find a sweet one. He's about 16 months old and full of energy of course. I'm not sure why this collar was on him but I would never use one of those.
Here's our new Doggie :yahoo: His name is Toby
This poor baby was found in New England somewhere tied to a tree in the woods. We picked him up last weekend and he was a jewel all the way back to MD where he belongs.
He's home now enjoying a nice yard and loving family. He needs to put on some weight and go through a year of good training. We are glad we were able to take him.
