AE clutch

I'll be doing an SS1000 in the next few weeks after the labor day crazyness abates.Still route planning at this stage Central NJ/Pa border to Dayton Ohio, and back , or same to Charlotte NC. Any pros/cons I'd like to hear from you. THE real ? I have is still the same one from my 1st post. Has anyone replaced an AE clutch I,m rapidly coming up on 10k? No problems to report yet. Its just one of those things on my mind rational or not

I asked people to post AE mileage and any problems they've had, particularly with the clutch. See this thread. In my year or so on the board, I haven't come across anyone with an AE clutch problem.

Thanks for the info. Sorry about yesterdays comment guess I was a little testy, didn,t get to ride SOooo I get grumpy JEEZ have I gotten old enough to get grumpy what next bifocals,AARP now I'm grumpy :dribble:

I am now at 30K on my 06 with zero clutch issues.

The only issue on my bike has been a ignition failure and a body panel flying off.

Actually, I was referring to the fact you had originally posted the question in the CFO section-which centers on Midwest group gatherings.
