AE Switch popped out

The little gray plastic button on my 2007AE popped out at the beginning of my iron butt attempt. I figured it would be like .20 cents to replace the little piece. After visiting my local dealer, he tells me that I have to replace the like everything for $400 and change or almost everything for $250 and change.

Further advice would be appreciated! The rubber part of the ae Button still works.

Mine popped out, I popped it back in, works fine, crossing fingers. At that price I will use the foot shifter for a while

Mine popped out also, luckily I was able to get it replaced under the YES warranty. They did have to replace the entire assembly. Silly but thats the way it is...

Wow! That sucks. Mine is working just fine. Must be an '07AE thing.

They gray button cover was missing when I purchased my bike used from a Yamaha dealer. They also said it was $400 to replace.

I found that the rubber button cover from the back of a $2 flashlight works pretty well.

I could not find that gray button cover for sale anywhere.
