After market headers

I want to get a set of pipes (headers & mufflers) from Dale Walker (Holeshot exhaust) I emailed him to verify his exhaust header for the 05 would fit an 06....His reply was, unless Yamaha changed the bike, if it fits the 05, it'll fit the 06.

I know Yamaha made a lot of changes, but I don't remember if they made the 06 JFR physically longer as to affect the fit of an exhaust upgrade design for the 05 and before.......

The change was made in the (swingarm) final drive end, not in the exhaust mounting. I remember that Turbo Dave took his off the 05 and installed them on his 06. So the headers will bolt up.
