I order a upgraded stator for my 05, and wondering what lights to buy... I will use a set of bracket that go under the mirrors. I had a set of Hella FF50's on my other bike, but wanted something better/more powerfull. Can't buy HID's, to much $ for me  . I was thinkinging about PIAA 910's, would they eat to much power to use my heated jacket, radar detector, gps?? Are any of the other PIAA's lights worth buying?? Thanks Smitty

The PIAA 910 lamp takes any common H7 bulb. With your upgraded stator you *maybe* could get away with a H7 bulb larger than the current 55-watt H7 everyone uses. However, if you need your heated jacket and lights (like most of us do), I'd stay with a 55-watt H7 in your PIAA 910s, and you'll still be okay with your heated gear, both running concurrently.

I've been looking at the Hella FF200 HIDs to replace my destroyed 910s. Anyone have experience/opinions/thoughts on this set? From what I've seen they have the integrated ballast, igniter.

Hmmm, I'm not sure that's right. I know that the FF200 HIDs that Iggy has have a non-intregrated ballast. I just went to the Hella web site and it looks like they show the same non-intregrated ballasts.

Iggy swears by his FF200 and I had a set of the halagen FF200, they're very good lights.

Here's Iggy's FF200 install Click here

Tinker went down in the rain earlier last year. Flyover on ramps are a ***** when wet... and your doing 80 !
Actually I believe they were destroyed during the Cal24, I will let him explain if he wants to. Except for his pride, I believe he was unhurt.

Smitty, I'm going with the $90 Hella's in the vendor section with mounting brackets included.

I also have a 05 with output at 490 watts, is you new stator a 06 unit with 590 watts?
