Great reports AGirl,

I love the pics of the cruiser w/ the roll bars. That's some hysterical ****!

Great ride reports AGirl. :clapping: Are you planning on attending WFO this summer? I'm sure you could find all kinds of things to write about.

I was hoping to see what the rider looked like.

What a great report and a kool way to pick up and break your bike in and see the country.

Some of those desert pics show absoutely nothing and no life should exist. The AZ.. desert is even more desolate than the Nevada desert and I been in the middle of of Nevadas dirt biking.

Unfortunately (or fortunately!) at that time I'll be Alaska-bound.

Thanks for the feedback.... glad folks enjoy the reports. I actually just finished editing the Palomar & Pie! report to include more pics. If you want to see a super cool photographic mosaic of just how sweet Palomar Mtn's South Grade road really is then scroll to about mid-page in the above link. As I said in the report, if that doesn't make you drool then you need something w/four wheels!

Great intro to your first few weeks with the bike and looking forward to reading more of your FJR travels. You've got a real knack for motorcycle story telling. Sounds like you been riding/sport touring for years.

Ok - Girl on fjr1300- cool, rides...definitely awesome, but as a 2007 owner with no farkles the important question is tell me about the driving lights, the non-stock mirrors, and which gps do you have :assassin:

Thanks, Midlifefjr.

To answer your questions... auxillary lights are fork mounted MotoLights, mirrors are OEM FZ1 mirrors, and GPS is Garmin 2610.

Hope your farkling future is bright! :)

Great report A Girl

Some of us crazies on this forum are planning on doing an Iron Butt Border to Border ride from Calexico Mexico to Alberta Canada in mid April 2007. I have a question about one of your pictures. The one with the english on the Mexico national flag mentions that you must have the vehicle title to enter. Do you know if that is true or not??. Appreciate any advice. thanks. I have been down to Ajo and Why and it is indeed an interesting ride.

Good to see you here Agirl or should I say Stromette ? I like your writting ,you made it so easy to read . How dose the FJR compare to the DL1000 , I know they are different animals but the 58,000 miles on the V strom and now 5,500 miles on the FJR you may have some opions that you would like to share ( or pm me ).

IMHO, you're only crazy if you don't try. Yes, the sign you ask about speaks the truth. It is my understanding that if you drive it then you don't need to show the title; if you bring it (tow/haul) then you DO need the title.... so, if you ride your bike across you're ok, if you have it in a truck or trailer then you'd better be prepared w/the title in hand. For insurance, I'd suggest MexPro.com. Oh, and if you see a dual-axle white Wells Cargo trailer w/a big fat orange "T" decal on the back promptly shoot the person who's towing it since it's MINE. You're welcome to use all the tools in the back too. Dang, you can't take weapons across... just run 'em off the road then.

Seems like deja vu.... STN.Still good!
Thanks... would you be the STN Admin who PM'd me requesting I post the reports? :p

Graham, PM sent.
