O, Woe is me!!
Currently have plans to run over to P'cola to my brother's that Wednesday, Oct. 17th, then ride up together to B'ham area on Thursday for the AHRMA historic motorcycles weekend at Barber. My brother has made arrangements for him and me to work the races. I don't know if that means corner working, T&S, or what, but it means at least a half day each day being "official" and maybe the rest running around with cameras. Looking forward to it, and hoping for the chance to meet some folks from here at the event.
So, anybody planning on going? A lot of you are a lot closer than I am, especially with the 2.5-hour detour Wedneday night. so no lame excuses.
(Actually, I might be the one with the lame excuse! I'm still not sure I can swing the trip $-wise. . . . My SO has missed about a month of work with a back injury, and they don't have the quacky supplemental insurance, the kind that pays cash when you're hurt and miss work.)
So anyways, 99.99% sure I'm going, and it would be a great shot at running into folks I "know" from the board.
