Greetings,

I just sold my 2002 Triumph Sprint ST and have purchased a 2005 Blue FJR with 2,350 miles on her.

On Friday I'll be taking the Rail Road to pick her up and am in need of some ideas for the ride home.

The bike is located in Long Island NY and I live in York PA. Other than a direct ride home on I-95, Ive considered riding down to Atlantic City NJ for dinner and take the back roads up to York County.

Anybody familiar with these locations? Any ideas and/or roads not to miss?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions

You might want to repost your question in the EAST (coast?) section of ... hey waydamminit, there ISN'T an "EAST" section in regional ride planning. What up wit dat?

Anyway, your query might be lost in the Iron Butt section. And a new title of something like "NY, NJ and PA recommendations", or something to that effect.

Sorry I can't help with your routing. Congrats on your FJR purchase! Have a great trip!

If you haven't done it before, Route 209 (off 84) at delaware water gap (Google Maps does OK). Nice ride, good scenery, places to stop, pray for no 18 wheelers. It'll be a little jog up after coming off long island though...

After that, you could do I80 West to I81 South, then to Harrisburgh, different & less frenetic that I95... After Harrisburgh you're on yer own !
