I saw these discussed in the most recent MCN.
So I decided to get a set to affix to at least my helmet if not regions of my bikes to make myself more visible, especially at night, when I don't like to ride anyway but sometimes have to.
Designed as tactical/combat markers, they have strobe, flashing and always on flash patterns. You can adhere them to, what, your helmet, your bike, your dog, your wife, like flashing or non-flashing running lights?
Not sure if some enterprising LEO might find them offensive in strobe or flashing mode, but I have a box of the strips (10) and they are about the size of a stick of gum, maybe a little shorter and a little wider. They are pretty damn bright. They come in white and a couple of other colors.
Said to run 35 hours on a single battery, then you can replace the battery.
Geek factor: Off charts.
Not cheap, $44 for a box of 10.
