Nice ride report and great pictures. Thanks George.

Beautiful pictures and a great rr. Thought about going out Tuesday about noontime but started messing about with a computer. Wish I had now since it was 26F when I got up this morning at 4:30. Surprisingly I didn't have to scrape any ice off the car windows. Prestone De-Icer spray bottle snug in the garage today but will be in the car shortly after I get home. I hope this isn't the end of the riding season, heated grips and base layers only go so far.

Nice stuff - well done. I would have voted for mountains until the snow met the road and I slip/slided the first time. Then it would have been a 180 turn and a re-vote.

One day I'll ride out west. But it won't be mid-November.

Thanks everyone! With winter doldrums right around the corner the ride was a nice break in routine.

Probably the last trip of the season to Mt Baker...have to head to the lowlands and ocean next time!!

Too bad about the traffic, though. If you ever get lane splitting legalized up there, I'm moving!
Traffic sucks for sure Mike, I stay out of it at all costs! Put in a good word for us on "splitting" would ya? I've carefully shared a few times...probably would have gotten a talking to if the opportunity presented itself.

Sorry the Pieman led you astray....

Great idea on the ride plan, and some especially nice photos to document your day. Probably won't appreciate them nearly as much in another two months, but right now they look fantastic.

George I really enjoyed the pictures and report. I have never been up there. Maybe next summer.

I have seen Mt Baker from the Freeway and always thought the whole area around Baker to look like a fantasy land.

So then, you went to Mt Baker and didn't even get a loaf of bread?

Geesh.

Slackers.

Outstanding! Thanks for the photos & story.

I showed the photos to my bride, who started shivering - until we got to the Food Porn!

Hope the weather gods cooperate and you can make it to Pinks!

Ya see DC, it's like this. I carry around a loaf of bread everywhere I go...

Unfortunately I've thrown in the towel of defeat Bret. There's snow and ice between me and Pinks this year.

I'll have to live to ride another day!
