Great scenery.

I’d “luv” to get to spend a couple of weeks in those hills. Is most of that National Forest land?

Thanks for sharing.

Most of it is not Natl Forest. There is plenty of Natl forest around but the Majority of it is just open land.

I do suffer from lack os scenery here. That is for sure!!

Very nice Cdawg! I recognized one of the trees from last July! You know, the one with white bark?

>> Nice pictures. I believe I saw a tree that had a heart carved in it??

Yes, There are several. Did you see it at WFO too?? Same road I led the ride on...

Great pics Cdog, thanks for sharing :clapping:

Only a few more good weeks of riding here then it is gonna get really cold. I will trailer my bike out of the snow and go play in the warm areas by hell

That is the "Sundance" ski resort. The one that is owned by Robert Redford. It has KILLER Sunday champagne Brunch. Really good food

all that riding to Utah and it rained hard as soon as we finally got on the bikes and see what I missed! Maybe next year I'll have better luck with the weather.

Terrific photos! That is a great ride, I've done it often though not this fall. I just returned from a Utah-Colorado 3 day ride that was spectacular! Started in PC, then over Wolf Creek Pass to Duchesne, then on US 191 to the I70 intersection. Then down I70 to Grand Junction. After Grand Junction US 50 to Delta, Montrose, Ouray, Silverton, and Durango. From Durango to Cortez, and on to Moab via US491 & US191 via Monticello. Came back to PC from Moab via US191 to Duchesne and SR35 (Wolf Creek Pass) back to Francis, Kamas and Park City. Finished the whole ride yesterday, arriving in Park City just before the rain, snow and other weather set in. The San Juans in Colorado this time of year are incomparable, snow, leaves, evergreens, red mountain rock and dirt, etc., etc.

The biggest problem is that I think the whole experience is now unavailable for the remainder of this year. There was quite a bit of snow in the San Juans (up high) and more weather is predicted for this weekend which may make the road from Ouray to Silverton no longer passable on a bike.

Regrettably I didn't take any photos. If I do that ride again I will not repeat that mistake.

Good riding!
