If I ride a Wing to EOM will you still let me play. I know the true answer to such a stupid question, but I wanted it out there now so I don't have to take so much **** at EOM for showing up on a Wing. I already have to buy a few beers so I was just wondering if this will cost me even more.

You now have to buy me a beer, too! Nahhh, just kidding... of course you can come & play on a wing. Just don't be surprised if you get passed in a 15 mph switchback. Oh crap, did I say that out loud???? ;)

Seriously though, I've ridden with several wings that can w/o any doubt, hold their own... so, I'm really just messin' with ya'.

You're more than welcome to come and play...

And maybe that Wing, with all it's cargo space, would be availible for beverage runs?? Just a thought...

Depends...how many beer cases will the Wing carry?

:drinks:

Oh yeah... I almost forgot about THAT Wing. We rode with him on Saturday. I looked in my left mirror just in time to see his front end wash & his bike sailing into the ditch. Turns out that lovely cup that he had in that lovely cup holder was full of vodka & OJ. If I had known he was drinking, I would never have ridden with him.

Not that there is anything really wrong with ditch surfing... well, besides the obvious.

I choose to look at the bright side... if I wasn't riding w/ the drunk winger I would not have met OhioFJR1300 & his cocky friend, Dave.

Now, that's the best idea I've heard all day. Go, Wayne!

And, hey, I'm trying to talk a friend from work into coming. If he does, he's on a frickin' VTX for cryin' out loud. Oh, well, I guess I can leave the little FZ in second gear...

If Smitty was coming, He would skool you in the twisties, On his Wing!

I guess the only requirement... Be on two wheel! :)

Well your going to need to rethink that if VTX Bob shows up with OHFJR, ask Jason. ;)

My co-worker is a returning-to-riding newb. He's still in the "slow and easy" mode till he gets his experience and confidence up.

Thanks guys. Beer runs I'll gladly make for ya. The wing should be here next wednesday. That will give me a few weeks to get it dialed in (suspension will need minor mod), and get my electronics and heated gear installed before EOM and then the VOID Rally 2 weeks after that. I've had 4 other large tourers (1 wing, 2 Ventures, and a Roadglide) so I really ready to slow down a little and see some of the landscape that I often miss while riding fast....well at least I'll try. Reading about Old Michael's cliff diving will make you think. You guys be careful.

Ya know Wade, you should have given a little more thought to that new Victory tourer.

Seemed like it good a "good review' by the boys over here

Ssshhh! I know for a fact that Fairlaner showed up at NAFO in his Audi, and we still made him welcome. OTOH, we did and still do, give him a lot of **** for doing so.
