I'll be heading to the Birmingham races from 4/20-4/22 and thought it would be cool to meet a few other FJR riders who might be there.
Hey ARFJR... several of us are planning to meet up. See this threadI'll be heading to the Birmingham races from 4/20-4/22 and thought it would be cool to meet a few other FJR riders who might be there.

Sounds like a good plan to me. See ya'll there.I'll be heading to the Birmingham races from 4/20-4/22 and thought it would be cool to meet a few other FJR riders who might be there.
Their will be a group of us from KC, with a combination of KS and MO plates. This will be our third trip down to Barber and I am amazed at how many FJRs are there. There will literally be dozens of them at the track. I have talked to some of them, but it gets overwhelming at times. Their was a guy working in the pits last year with an 05 that had polished wheels and aftermarket exhausts, talked to him for a while, and up came two other guys that had FJRs. It seems to be a popular bike with the race fans.
For those that haven't been, we have figured out the best thing to do is park in the paved lot next to the Museum and take the shuttle around the track. There are lots of places to park around the track but invariably it rains and the grass parking turns soft. Plus, there is a substantial police presence at the museum and they seem to keep an eye on things. It is also easier to get out at the end of the day from there.
We'll see you down in Birmingham.
