AMA schedule

Heartland Park

They may be in the schedule for July 31st thru Aug. 2nd.

Guaranteed to be hotter than hades if they do.

How about we try to get a group rate and section of seats for the FJR folks?

I know, I know it's possible these dates conflict with WFO.

This is for the folks that aren't planning to there.

Well I've attended the Runoffs at Heartland Park for the last three years and my personal opinion of the place is that it sucks. I also wouldn't consider it a particularly safe place to race even in a car there's a few too many concrete walls. As far an FJR section except for along the drag strip there are only 2 small bleachers that might hold 25 or 30 people not many good viewing areas.

The only reason I went back the last two years is I was getting paid to be there. Next year they'll be at road America, mucho better.

I haven't seen that DMG gives a rat's ass about the riders' safety. Remember their fiasco when half the field refused to ride at Iowa.

I guess this is sort of a hijacking, but I was reading this thread and noticed your avatar. You may know that Betty passed away yesterday. She was 85 and had been hospitalized after a heart attack last week. As I understand it, the decision was made to let her go.
