I've lived on Canada twice. The last time I was exempt from paying the tax on booze while living in Toronto. I spent more money on liquor in one year entertaining Canadians than I did in the rest of my life combined.

 
ok ok for the record....Modern day games.

Basketball : invented by a Canadian. Dr. James Naismith, a Canadian who hailed from Almonte,

Ontario.(Teaching in the US.)

Baseball : England 1744 is the earliest known reference.

Football : American. Morphed from British style soccer into Football in the early 1900's.

Hockey : Canadian. Enough said just saying.

Lacrosse : Canadian. First nations

Soccer : England
