It was a good idea. I never did do a write-up of my 07 or 09 experiences because I never got around to it soon enough.

Greg, great to read your account of the IBR.

It's fun to read about how our travels overlap for a few minutes then go in different directions, then overlap again at the end of the rally.

Well, I finally got around to reading the whole damn report - excellent job young jedi!

Except..........

NOT ONE SINGLE MENTION of the Hula Girl providing you a minimum of 2 finishing positions higher and therefore getting you into the Top 20!

Oh, the shame! :angry: That will cost you several tire changes on that fancy-schmancy No-Mar tire changer of yours.

Do I see a Top 10 for 2013? Guess I may have to get you a full size Hula Girl for that.

Thanks for taking the time to do a great write up. I may get to do some small rallies but the big one isn't in the cards. I'm glad we met before the rally even though the conditions could have been better. glad you had a good finish.

I just want to share my thanks to Greg for writing this down...so we could see his experience through his eyes before he passed on.

Yes, it still hits me every once in a while that he is gone. Just can't believe it. Beemerdons and I spent two days de-farkling his FJR a couple weeks ago before it got returned to the finance company. Eventually, most of those farkles should end up here on the forum for sale. Also got to spend the day with his widow Luanne earlier this week as she needed some shuttling around due to foot surgery.

I miss the dude.
