Word is that Cal Crutchlow will be joining the Tech3 team taking Ben's seat that became vacant when they announced he was going to Factory Yamaha.

Still 50-50 on Edwards staying at Tech3, but, looking more and more like he will. He was toying with the idea of going to Factory Ducati World Superbike, but, not that they announced they aren't running a factory team, it seems to have lost some appeal.

Lorenzo deal is all but done keeping him at Yamaha

Pedrose deal is all but done keeping him at Honda

Dovizioso is still one of the big unknowns. I hear they're still looking for sponsorship for a possible 1-rider team where he would get factory bikes, just not run as a factory Repsol rider (assuming Repsol stays with Honda, which they should).

With the championship all but locked up barring something crazy, I'm sure there's a few more pennies going into the piggybank next year. Reported £2-3M this year and wouldn't be surprised if he hits double digits next year.

Done deal for Crutchlow https://roadracingworld.com/news/article/?article=41871Melandri replacing him on the Factory Yamaha World Superbike team. The opening on the San Carlo Honda team may be where Dovizioso ends up.
Sticking with WSBK for a moment, I read this week that Eugene Laverty is moving up from Supersport to take the other Yammie WSBK seat.

Any idea what's happening to Toseland? Is he about to be unemployed?

No word yet. If he can't find a WSB or WSS spot, I'm sure there are plenty of BSB teams that would love to have him.

Not sure if Kawi will keep Chris the V and/or Sykes in 2011. With the new model coming out, they're not gonna want to mess around.

That's great news about Edwards! I've been hoping he could hang in there until they go to 900cc. Isn't that 2012?

1000cc in 2012. I honestly think he would have gone to Ducati for a factory WSBK ride if they hadn't folded up shop. He's frustrated. He's giving it all he's got and just not getting results. I could be wrong, but, I would find it hard to believe that he's getting all the tasty bits that they're giving Ben.

Some have speculated that Ben is riding Rossi's bike in Tech3 livery, but, it has been confirmed by many sources that he isn't. I think he's just getting good suspension parts.

Something that will be interesting to see how it plays out - Ben is running low on engine allotments.

I am a new-ish fan to MotoGP, but am really into this season (despite the many runaway victories). Can't wait for the first race next year - lots of changes to spice things up. Also, I really enjoyed the race this weekend at Aragon. Spies and Dovi going at it was fantastic (despite the lack of camera coverage)!

No surprise at all...Lorenzo signed through 2012 with Yamaha.

Dovizioso still not confirmed as to where he'll end up next. Should say, which Honda he'll be on next year. In an interesting twist of fate for him - for this week's race, he captured pole position at Motegi (Honda's home track) and Honda's pet Pedrosa crashed and broke his collarbone and will not race. For his sake, hope he didn't sign yet and can use this to his advantage as a bargaining chip.

JT is currently being linked to Ten Kate Honda or possibly Factory BMW.
BMW's WSBK team is now set with Corser and Haslam. That sounds like an awesome combo.

I like the idea of Toseland to Ten Kate. I don't know why they'd keep Neukirchner.
