I have one a 90 model and it is a blast. 600cc, 6 speed gearbox, 400 lbs. wet. Nice little bike. Please let me know you thoughts on it if you will, thanks.

Had one years ago (around 89, I think the bike was an 86 model). It was in the Candy apple red. Very nice. I put a small windscreen on the front to get the windblast off my chest and it was a great all around bike. For a twin-shock chasis it even handled reasonably well.

Only down side, it (the bike) was too small for me (physically) for touring (and I'm only 5'7). Around town the small size was great. But I do alot of touring and by the time I had all my gear packed on it and the tank bag strapped on there was barely enough room for me to get on the bike.

But other than that, great little bike. (But If I were to choose I would still pick the FJR over the Radian)

We have one sitting in the garage that is the SO's ride. I'm 6'2" and nearly 300lbs, so it's about impossible for me to ride, phyisically, but is a blast! (I look like a clown on a toy bicycle)

Unfortunatly, the thing was never right since we bought it, always ran riched and fouled plugs in less than 1000 miles. I took the carbs off to clean and such, and before I got around to putting them back on 2 of the carbs had seized, and I can't get them back open. The bike has been sitting without a fuel delivery system for a while.

I have ony ridden one, in a high altitude environment, but I liked it a lot. I'd think it's more than 400lbs wet though....

I'd get one as an around town or starter bike for sure!

I had one that I used as a winter commuter and loved it. I put a monstrous windscreen as well as heated grips on it and off I went. I gave it no love other than gas, oil, and chain lube and it never let me down. My only major complaint was the tiny fuel tank.

Radian was my fist bike back in 1986. Got it brand new for $2000 out the door with a helmet. It was a great little bike except for the smallish gas tank and buzzy handlebars. I still have it in the garage. Hasn't run in 3 or 4 years. Needs a carb rebuild I think.

My wife wants me to get it running so she can ride it (she's never ridden before!). It's a real good bike for novices so I think I'll do it next spring for her.
