Are there any plans for a 2006 Tech West?

Likely. Late summer probably. No more details than that. You know who only has WFO, the entire rally season, and a dozen of other things first.

In the past, Tech West sessions were held at Sunnyside Motorcycles in Washington state. The service staff there hold intermediate and advanced clinics on the the FJR. According to last year's announcement, there were demonstrations planned for these items:

• Installing new fork springs
• Installing stainless steel brake lines on an ABS
• Bleeding/testing the ABS brake system
• Removing/installing the shock absorber
• Other clinics TBD

By all accounts, it's a great way for FJR owners to learn more about servicing their bikes.

I went to the techwest in the fall of 04. Not just good tech info but a chance to kick tires with some FJR people and the folks at Sunnyside Yamaha are great. The locals did get a bit wild at the resturant during Keroke night behind the motel till the cops showed up, oh the night life in the big city!
